FEBRUARY 20, 2012 (Monday, President’s Day).  Combined NMAA NE/NW Regional High School Team Tournament.  At Santa Fe Indian School, 1501 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe 87505.  Open only to NMAA member high schools in NE and NW chess regions.  Winning teams qualify for state championship March 30-31 in Albuquerque.  Three divisions:  4A-5A (6-player teams), 3A (6-player teams) and A-2A (5-player teams).  Three rounds (10 am, 11:45 am, 1:30 pm), G/50.  Registration form must be received by Wed. MARCH 30 & 31, 2012 (Fri eve and Sat).  NMAA High School Team Championship.  At Courtyard Marriott Hotel, 5151 Journal Center Blvd., Albuquerque.  (Exit I25 at Paseo del Norte westbound, turn south onto frontage road about ¼ mile.)  Open only to NMAA member high schools that qualified at their respective regional tournaments.  G/75.  Registration fee $40 per school.  Special room rates, $80 + tax, 877-905-4496, by March 12.  For additional tourney information, Robert Mathis robertmathis@atcschool.org or orangeyglow@yahoo.com .
