This tournament will establish the 2010 NM State Champion in each grade
K-12. A total of 50 place-trophies will be split amongst the sections
based on registrations, with many additional honorable mention trophies.

chess region. Winning teams qualify for state championship April 8-9 in
Albuquerque. Two divisions: 3A-5A (6-player teams) and A-AA (5 player teams).
Three rounds (10 am, 11:45 am, 1:30 pm), G/50. Teams must check in by 9:30 am.
Registration form must be received by Sat. Feb. 26 but fees may be paid on day
